ooohhh, getting in the Christmas spirit! :-)

Holaaaaa!

After 12 loooooong weeks FINALLY, Christmas holidays!

I know I speak for most when I say.. I AM DRAINED OUTT. I mean, school/college/uni life really does take it out of you. So basically.. wear your furry pink bunny slippers (or whatever slippers you have) and put your feet up and RELAX. Most of us have earned a little bit of relaxation - but not too much.

Being a Muslim we don't really get to celebrate Christmas, however we enjoy the discounts, the Christmas sale, and in general Christmas merriness! But yeah, I love the holiday season - The festive season, whatever you wanna call it, it's always such a beautiful atmosphere and every ones suddenly nice to each other!? it's like wdf? you're giving up your seat on the train for me!? or its like.. wdf? free chocolates?! WHOA. But yes, as shocking as it is.. everyone is that much nicer and happier and its just nice to see nice people :)

I also enjoy seeing little red noses, every ones Rudolph during December! Everyone looks just so cute with their red noses cause of the cold weatherrr!

and.. we all get really exited when it starts snowing! YES eventually the snow turns to ice and we end up falling and people end up laughing but in general we get really excited about white stuff falling from the sky!

Other than that.. there's the Christmas films that come on every single year.. and you will watch them EVERY single year. Whether it be Home alone, 1, 2 ,3,4 , Love Actually, Shrek, The Grinch.. you just HAVE to watch it :-). You then have the boxing day sales and the January sales.. OMG.. total MADNESS! I've seen women fight over clothes, hit each other with shoes.. throw things.. it's scary how crazy women get when we see the words "SALE" total madness. Then we have the new year! and we make this resolutions "I'm going to lose weight" "I'm going to spend less money" "I'm going to eat healthier" "I'm going to stop smoking", it never end sup happening, does it?

And another time I laughed at my friend Rey because she fucked up her foot and couldn't walk, so I laughed at her and called her a penguin, like a day later I fucked up my foot and couldn't walk for a week, karma came fast that time!

How do you explain something like that? How do you find the words that explain something like that? There are NO words, no words that can justify or explain or show anything, because there nothing that even comes CLOSE to explaining that.

Walking home. #She was alone. Had Elton John on repeat. #Headphones in, she couldn’t hear a thing. Thought I’d take the shortcut. #Perfect. “Something about the way you look tonight” #Completely oblivious that I was behind her. He pushed me up against the wall. #She was shaking, this was going to be easy. I didn’t know what to do, I opened my mouth to scream but nothing came out. #She let out a silent “help”, no one would be able to hear that for sure. I tried to push him off me but he was too strong. #She scratched me, bitch. I bit him but he wouldn’t stop. # I pulled up her dress. I couldn’t stop him, ladders on my tights. #Tears trickled down her face. I could feel his hands on my stomach burning my skin as he went down. #Pretty little pink knickers. I felt sick. #I pulled down my jeans, hard and ready to go. He forced his way inside me. #She kept screaming so I put my hand over her mouth. He kept going, it hurt. #It felt good. Tears fell from my eyes, I couldn’t hold it in. #I was in control. I tried to knee him; he punched me in the face. #Silly girl. Was it ever going to end? I shut my eyes hoping it was soon. #I was done, I got out of her and walked away. I fell to the floor shivering, blood everywhere.

Thought I'd pick a topic today that I haven't written much about.

Em.. love and relationships is always a complicated one as everyone is always in different situations and you don't actually know how to go about this topic because only the people IN the relationship will know what it's really like, rightt? so in the famous words of Ghetts "Sometimes I wanna be single, but nobody said a relationship was ever gonna be simple." that really says it all!

Em, if anyone wants any advice you can leave your comments below and I will get back to you an try and give you my words of wisdom ;-) xx

I wrote this earlier today, and maybe some of you feel the same so I'm gonna share it with you -

it's true, I mean you can't just turn off your feelings for someone.. and sometimes even when you want to NOT love them you still do. Another way to look at it is that we're fools in love, because you love them, you give in, even when you don't want to because they make you weak, and because you love them. I wrote this earlier today as well so I'm gonna share that with you lovely people too -

Hey my sweetiesss, on this dull and dark typical British weather kind of day I hope this cheers you up!

I read this somewhere the other day and it made me want to share it with all you lovely people :-)

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

This made me think... aaaaalot! And I came to the conclusion that women really are amazing! (We really really are!)

From Rosa Parks to Marylin Monroe to Michelle Obama and even Margrat Thatcher... So so many inspirational amazing women in this world just like you all :-)

We sometimes forget our worth in this big world (which most of the time is male dominated) but looking beyond that and in the worlds of James Brown "this is a man's world but it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl" and as it lies "Behind every great man, there's a great woman". I realise that I am using a lot of quotes, but there's truth behind them all... so all you beautiful women out there be who YOU want to be, do what makes YOU happy, don't let anyone bring you down and always stay true to YOURSELF.

A LITTLE BIT OF ROMANCE TO BRIGHTEN UP YOUR DAY. ;-)

this is a short story I've just written.. hope you like it :-)

(first parts the present and the second parts a few years later..)

“Oh, sorry!”

“Yeah, you should be! Can’t you see where you’re going!?”

I felt bad, I was the one who wasn’t looking at where I was going, I was just in such a rush, what should I do.. I’ll give him one of my cheesiest smiles.

“That’s a beautiful smile you have there”

First he walks into now he’s hitting on me, this is strangely attractive.

I noticed my reflection in his brown eyes; chocolate brown puppy dog eyes, he had perfectly shaped pink lips that looked as if someone had just drawn them on – a work of art, he had a beautiful scar on his neck, a sort of violet colour and he smelt of a mixture of cigarettes and perfume – an intoxicating smell, he had hair on his face; rough but not too rough, just the perfect amount and while I looked at him his lips curled into a sexy half smile and I felt like a fifteen year old girl blushing away.

I hadn’t spoken for a good minute and I could feel my cheeks getting hot; I had to say something...

“Em... Thank you I think”

“Oh you think? So what do you think about dinner tomorrow around 6?”

“Yes”

What was I doing, I’m not normally like this... I’ve just said yes to a total stranger, what if he turns out to be one of them serial killers and what’s he doing here anyway, he doesn’t look like a student nor a business man, has he just come out of court being divorced and now wants a rebound? A night of meaningless sex, well I wouldn’t say no to that, I’d have a night of meaningless sex with him right here if I could, I’d let him have all of me in a heartbeat.

I can see people walking up and down but I don’t see her. I can hear people talking, laughing some even shouting but I don’t hear her. I can smell a sort of rusty smell coming in through the window but I can’t smell her.

I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever to see that beautiful smile of hers, the smile that stole my heart in just a breath, I’ve been waiting forever to hear her laugh; her charming little laugh. I’ve been waiting forever to feel her lips on mine, to feel her hands in mine, to feel her be mine. I’ve been waiting forever to take in her sweet smell, to inhale all of her, to breathe her in. I’ve been waiting desperately for her to mould into my arms where I can keep her forever. I’ve been waiting for what seems like an eternity, a lifetime just waiting and waiting so that one day she’ll return to our home and she’ll be mine once again.

It’s there for everyone; an extremely popular attraction,

It grabs your attention, and fills your wardrobe with a vibrant sensation.

Before you enter your nose is mesmerized by the trail of waffles,

And just as your about to glide in, your stomach kind of shuffles.

Your eyes start to twinkle and wonder in amazement,

And you just stand there thinking to yourself ‘Damn, this must be god sent’

There’s colour everywhere, like the petals of an extremely beautiful flower

Unique petals: soft, small, big, warm. Sparkly with glitter.

Stunningly arranged with so much elegance,

It’s no wonder you’re hooked as soon as you catch sight of the entrance.

You get bedazzled in this world of colour and style

But it feels as if your getting away from the rest of the world, even if it just for a while.

As you walk through pathways, there are people astounded

When you go to a different section you’re surrounded.

In this new found world you’re never alone,

A different version of happiness with a new dynamic tone.

Your eyes are glued and you’re hypnotised by the surroundings,

SHORT STORIES (well, the intros anyway!)

Ok, so as you guys may know, and if you don't know I'm telling you guys now that I do Creative writing at uni (joint with English Lit). so basically, something we did in class was to write intros to some short stories, and I thought it might be nice to share some of these short stories with you guys and get your thoughts! so here goes.. (fingers crossed)

Intro to short story 1.

Walking through oxford street amongst hundreds of different people all programmed to end up in different places, I myself am programmed to make the same journey every single day. To walk past the same landmarks, the same cracks in the pavement through summer days with sweat trickling down my neck, or in autumn where I have to avoid slippery leaves scattered on the pavements, even through winter with a frost bite and my nose runny, I myself am programmed to make this journey.

Intro to short story 2.

Waking up everyday with a hangover, with the same shit all over again. Making my way down the flats to the corner of the estate with the same people, doing the same shit everyday.

We smoke, we joke, we laugh, sometimes we fight, sometimes we scare others just for fun, sometimes we try our chat up lines on girls walking by and sometimes we resort to force on girls when we're high. Other days we play video games all day, and as soon as it gets dark we go out to the estates to make a bit of money - drugs, stolen goods, knives, guns.. you name it, we got it.

But this day was different, there was something in the air that day that made me queasy, in fact the air made me a little scared that day...

Intro to short story 3.

Every day's the same, I wake up everyday wondering when Gods going to take me away and stop this pain. Slowly my body's giving up, I don't even have the strength to move anymore, the only thing I can do is look out of the window beside my bed and watch people as they live their lives. Some days I see children running past, other days I see couples walking hand in hand and I'm envious of everything I could never have. Some days I draw the curtains and block the world out, just like the world has blocked me out, other days I sit on my bed while doctors and nurses come in and out, and I sit there in self pity finding it hard to believe that there are thousands out there in the world, just like me.

Waiting, waiting, waiting to die.

Emmmm.. hope you enjoyed it and it wasn't a waste of 5 minutes of your lifee.. ☹

Hellooooo my amazing readers! :-)
I realise that I haven't written a post in quite a while so I that that today I shall.. :-)

Firstly, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE WEATHER!? It's England.. we don't expect another summer so quick! we're almost not prepared! But happy hormones are always good, so yay!

Emmm.. what else has been going on! Oh yes, haven't written in a while because I've been so busy with uni.. yeah.. start of a whole new era in my life, and the grants good! The fact that I'm at oxford street is not so good seeing as though all my grant money is being spent in the shops there, and McDonald's at every corner, so not only am I broke, I'm broke AND fat.. that cant be a good combination!
emmmm.. yeah.. so I'm doing English lit and creative writing at uni (ok.. that doesn't sound right, it sounds like I'm f*cking English lit creative writing), and yeaah it's good so far! I may have a change of opinion in the next week but yeah.. I'm always knackered! As soon as I hit the pillow I'm out.. I am currently yawning away (I bet that just made you wanna yawn :-P)

Also.. I PHONE 5!? Nah.. I PHONE 4S. What a load of crap.. Isn't it the exact same thing?
emmmm.. I apologise for my GLUM blog post.. I'm just so drained out! :-(
Emmmmmm.. if anyone is kind enough to have a whole library in their homes and wouldn't mind giving me some books.. I will be more than grateful ;-)

Hi my lovessss!

This is a verrry early blog post, seeing as though I had to wake up at 8am to drop of my little sister to her new school and it made me think that we're all starting anew.

September brings a new leaf to all of our lives... Some are starting nursery, school, secondary school, college and others are starting university. September marks a change in every ones life, it really is like a new year!

It's a chance, an opportunity for us all to start over or to dust yourselves and try again and try much harder ☺ , it's a chance for us to make new friends, new relationships, new ties ☺.

It's a chance for all of on our way to success, and I just wanna say that I'm seriously proud of every single person trying their hardest to make something of themselves, to leave their mark on this world.

To all my amazing readers I wish you every success this term/year and I hope that you achieve all your dreams and become even more amazing that you already are! Good luck my lovess!! ☺

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?!

Riots all over London, it's become beyond ridiculous!

It's not even about the shooting of Mark Douggan anymore, it's about inconsiderate imbeciles just exploiting the fact that we live in a democracy!

I mean, we have freedom of speech, the freedom to do most things, other countries aren't so lucky, yet people are exploiting the fact that we have this!

I SERIOUSLY CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING.

I've watched tonnes of videos where thugs are just breaking into shops just for some new goodies, I mean seeeeeriously!?! GO OUT AND GET YOURSELF A FUCKING JOB.

Helllooo my beautiful readers!

To those of you that are Muslim (and those of you that aren't) probably know that Ramadan is literally just round the corner, so I thought that I should write something about the blessed month because Ramadan isn't just for Muslims, everyone can enjoy Ramadan.

I'm not proud to say that I myself am not a very practising Muslim, but I love the month of Ramadan, it's just such a peaceful and beautiful month. We (Muslims) believe that all evil (as in Shaytaan) are locked up during the month of Ramadan so every bad/evil act is from our own freewill and not under the influence of evil. In the month of Ramadan you actually feel like all evil IS locked up and you feel so peaceful and content and it really is the most amazing feeling ever.

But I can't help but feel sad that there are people out there in the world living in poverty that even during the month of Ramadan they still fast and when it's time to break their fast (iftar) they may not have enough food to fill their hunger, whereas we (and I can say this from experience) literally throw away so much food at iftar.

LIFE WOULD BE THAT MUCH EASIER IF I HAD A PENIS.

Hi my lovely readersss! ☺

I've thought about this too many times and I've now come to a conclusion that life would be that much easier if I were a guy.

I mean women go through a lot of pain and hardship and men just have it easy!

and this isn't complaining about life (because that's what girls do, and even if we do complain we have good reason to!)

I don't think that a guy can ever know the pain of periods, or the pain of waxing, threading, tweezing, the pain of walking in shoes that are slowly killing your little toes just so that you can look good.

Guys don't have to even need do their hair, but it takes us a lot of time, especially when you have them days where your hair just does not stay in place, so you put it up in a pony tail, you try a headband, you try hair pins, you try hair spray but nothing seems to work and by the time if finally looks just about okay you've realised that you've spent half the day dealing with your hair, through no fault of your own (I mean you can't help it if your hair is acting like a annoying 5 year old!)


Joeys got the right idea.. wear everything!

Then there's clothes, we buy tonnes of clothes, on average at least 5 pieces of clothing every single day but even then we have nothing to wear! (this is why be buy more!) so we have to spend a lot of time rummaging through out wardrobes, trying on different things, seeing what looks okay, what looks a bit too much, what looks like you're a beggar, or what looks chavvish what looks slapper-ish, seriously... You may think that we enjoy doing this or that it's not a big deal but believe me doctors should provide some sort of antibiotics for that sort of pain (the pain of not finding something to wear).

And then we have the monthly period. Which feels like you're surely but slowing dying - no joke.

And it's not even that it last 5 days, that's not the case, before that we have PMT/PMS (which stands for pre menstrual tension/ stress), which could mean tears because your brother had the last cookie, or mood swings, greasy skin, sometimes even spots, breast pain, or random outbursts of anger, or even just pure depression.. not wanting to get out of bed, staying in your pj's all day because you just can't face the world and that's BEFORE any lining of the uterus has even come out!

Then you have the actual period where the first 3 days are just indescribable but imagine someone constantly kicking the shit out of you and multiply that by a 100, it's something along those lines of the amount of pain. Sleeping is uncomfortable, even getting up from bed is seriously the hardest thing to do, every single part of your body aches and you just really wanna crawl into a hole and lay there forever.

Also, the money we spend on period related things every month is quite expensive, I mean you have the tampons/sanitary towels, but on top of that you have antibiotic's, period pain tablets, you have to buy a whole tonne of chocolates, you have to stock up on ice cream.. I mean it kinda gets you skint every month!

Then we have the things we do weekly... Waxing, shaving, threading, tweezing, hair removing cream, bleaching.. you name it, we do it!

Anything just to feel girly, and non hairy. I mean yes, we have hair.. we're human, we're all bound to have hair! it's the way of life. But we have to go through endless amounts of pain and time to just be non hairy, and not forgetting that these things cost money! No guy would have to remove hair, if anything.. the more hair on a guy the better!

Then there are smaller but equally painful things like make up. I mean, we need it.. if you look pretty on the outside you feel pretty on the inside, shallow but true.

You have to find the perfect blusher, or the perfect lip gloss, something that matched with your skin tone, something that's not too over the top, something that looks natural but you can tell you've got something one.. a real headache is what it is! and not forgetting again, make up is expensive.

Then there's things like if you go out with a few too many guys, you're known as a slut, but when a guy does it it's all "ooooooohhhhh, you're sik man.. you went out with 10 girls.. you're a legenddddd!". ¬_¬

Then there's the big thing - CHILD BIRTH.

I've never been through this myself but I'm dreading that I might have to do this one day.

Apparently it's the most painfullest thing that you will go through in your life, and I'm not surprised! I mean pushing out a human being from a tiny hole. That's unbelievable.. And the stories I have heard, I've had nightmares! And things actually rip and have to be sewn back.. oh how gruesome and painful!

I don't understand, Why can't guys get pregnant!? Also.. this means that because we carry the eggs we will get pregnant if we don't have the safe sex.. great! ¬_¬

So there you have it!

I WANT A PENIS, so I don't have to go through these crappy things. Ugh.

BLIND AND DEAF PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST SO AMAZING!

Hi all!

Something that has ALWAYS fascinated me is sign language, braille and lip reading. (if you don't know what it is, google it!)

Certain people might assume that because you're blind or deaf that you're less able than the rest when in fact that's not true.

Today on the train I saw this couple who were both deaf but they were both using sign language to communicate to each other and it just melted my heart, it must have taken them time and patience to learn how to use sign language and patience with each other as well. But it was just such an amazing sight that they were both happy and it made me grateful that I can hear! and the fact that I don't have to go through difficulties in life because I'm not deaf.

Also, blind people that learnt to read using Braille is just so amazing! To us it may seem like some bumpy dots but for them it's a chance to read! How amazing is that!?! ☺

We often forget that we're so privileged more so than many others in this world and we take what we have for granted.

Something as little as being able to see or hear we often take for granted.

What if we couldn't hear? we wouldn't be able to listen to music, or hear the voice of a loved on? What if you we couldn't see? we'd have to learn to read braille, or have guide dogs or guide sticks, we might end up lost because we can't see..

So be grateful for what you have and who you are and just take a minute to think about those who aren't as fortunate as us. ☺

PERVERTS/CREEPY MEN.

Hi all! :-), thought I'd write about something that affects a large amount of us - perverts, weird creepy men and just creepy stares and weird comments.

Just the other day while I was at the library, I went out of the library for 2 minutes for some air and something really scary happened to me, and I felt so vulnerable and exploited and really really scared me.

So I'll tell you the story... I went out for some air (after a whole day of revision, I felt sick) and I was just sitting outside, and I was just having one of them days when it just took too much effort to even smile, and this guy walks by (I don't wanna judge but he looked like one of them drugged up creepy men) and he asked if I have a cigarette I said no, and he decided to sit near me and look me up and down and say "so how old are you, have you got a boyfriend.." and I just got up and walked back inside the library, but I had no idea he was following in behind me, and he literally ran in after me trying to grab me, but I moved really fast towards the reception bit and he ran upstairs.

At that moment I'm not going to lie - I was seriously terrified. My whole body and my legs were shaking! I actually couldn't walk. I told the woman at the reception and she got security to escort me upstairs and I just couldn't stay there and I just got my stuff and came home. I was sooo scared :-( and even when I got on the bus there was a creepy guy that kept staring at me throughout, I felt so exploited and helpless.

I think to myself, god forbid that something like this ever did occur, but imagine a random guy on the streets just grabbed me and took me and raped me, I wouldn't be able to to anything about it.. I'm so little and weak compared to a grown man.

So I guess this blog post was just to say that girls are made to feel more vulnerable and exploited than guys, so if you're a guy (a nice guy) try and help a girl out.. cause sometimes we all need someone to look after us! especially because we tend to be physically weaker than guys.

Also, if you're a creepy guy just know that the way you make us feel is not nice, and you wouldn't want your sister, your daughter, your mother to feel like that, so don't do it to others. ☹

Hi all! I've decided to forget about revision for a bit to let you (BEAUTIFUL you) know that it is okay to wear whatever the fuck YOU want to wear. Obviously, I'm not saying wear something that will have you charged with public indecency, but I wanna encourage you to wear things that make you feel liberated and amazing and absolutely wonderful, cause you really really are! ☺

Being a Muslim girl, you're always limited to what you're allowed to wear or what may come across as "slaggish" but I've really had enough, Okay.. My religion restricts me, but I think I'm okay with that, it doesn't mean that you can't dress nicely.. But what really pisses me off is the fact that others think that it's okay to judge people. No, it's not okay.. yeah we all judge people - it's inevitable! But when you go out of your way to make someone feel like a "slag" just because of what they're wearing, that is just low.

I mean, this happens in the media ALL the time, there's celebrities that bring down other celebrities because of what they're wearing when really they don't have a right to say that because they probably have a million stylists that choose what the fuck they're gonna wear.

There seems to be so many rules when it comes to how to dress these days, things like these -

"You can only wear a bikini if you’re thin"

"If you are over 50 you shouldn’t have long hair"

"Blue and green should never be seen"

"Plus size women shouldn’t wear horizontal stripes"

"Plus size women shouldn’t wear anything that is tight or too fitted"

"Small busted women should wear push up bras and cleavage enhancing blouses and tops"

I mean seriously!?! Dressing yourself is supposed to be about expressing YOUR personality, not about someone/the media making you wear what they want... Who cares if you're top doesn't match your skirt? Or if the shoes you're wearing are a bit bright!? WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT, and don't ever let anyone tell you what you should be wearing.

So.. amazing, beautiful and wonderful YOU, wear what you want when you want! Life’s too short to be constricted by fashion rules and have anyone else but YOU decide what you want to wear.

Life’s also too short to judge others for the same reason. Let’s just all let one another be whoever they want to be and then we really can feel free from judgement and criticism. If we did we would see many more individual, unique and brilliant fashion statements out there because people would feel free and empowered to truly wear what they wanted and express their personalities through what they wear!

So he's found and dead after the USA has been looking for him for 10 years?

I can't believe that America the MOST POWERFUL country in the WORLD could not manage to find Bin Laden all these years and that's why I think there is A LOT of conspiracy surrounded around the whole story about Bin Laden and America.

Also, at one point they where only a few feet away from him and he "slipped" through their fingertips, how is that possible?

Other reasons why I think it's all a bit odd is the fact that they found him and then straight away buried him at sea. Why? They say it's to stop his followers from making the place of his burial into a shrine/place of worship and that because islamically you should bury the body as soon as possible? Hm, but islamically you're supposed to bury the body in soil, not at sea. Also, the picture of him is blatantly photo shopped, if you can't see that then you're just naive. Osama - Photo shopped.

Also, to all those that are justifying what Bin Laden has done, seriously, just think again. If it was anyone else, obviously we wouldn't be happy, but this guy was pure evil. Killing/injuring millions of innocent men, women and children - That's just not right.

CELEBS IN THE NUDE. (Why do it!?!)

Recently (well not that recently), I discovered a really really horrific picture of Cassie in the nude and I just thought WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF?

Is it to gain media attention or just simply to humiliate yourself?, I mean if that was me (well I wouldn't be stupid enough to take a nude picture of me and put it up on the Internet but just if) I would not leave my house, I would be sooooo humiliated and embarrassed and literally hibernate for a good year or so in my bedroom. But it's not only Cassie that has done this, A LOT of celebs do this..

An example would be Miley Cyrus (in the picture).

I mean why do that to yourself? If you want pose nude but do it in a classy way - not like a chav, and for someone like Miley Cyrus doing that, seriously not cool.

I have little sisters that look up to her and with that much power and respect she goes and does that? What does that show to young girls out there, that you should show off your body just to gain a little media attention? I mean if I had as much power as Miley Cyrus (who might I add cannot sing to save her life) I would never take advantage of it, I'd use it in a positive way, especially if you have young girls looking up to you.

However, lets not blame it all on Miley Cyrus, evidently its all the Disney Channel stars that decide to become slappers. Another is Vanessa Hudgens, I mean from High School Musical to this!? - Get some class! Especially when you have millions of children looking up to you, wanting to be like you.

I don't see how they have the guts to leave their houses after that? It seems almost everyone these days in the media is nude. Is this what the world has become, the only way to gain fame is through the use of sex appeal, because of the fact that sex sells?

Seriously, I thought fame was about talent, not about getting your bits out. The nude picture of Cassie is so so bad that I can't put the picture up however, I will attach a link for the curious ones. Cassie - Nude.

You can become successful without getting your bits out, there's millions of people that have succeeded without degrading themselves - Alicia Keys, Adele, Pink, The Saturdays, Mary J Blige etc.

GETTING MARRIED. (No, I'm not getting married)

Awwwwwwwwhhhhhh!

Well.. The royal wedding has got me thinking about weddings and marriage and everything that comes with it.

I'm a stupid stupid romantic, I love all cheesy things! And one day when I get married I want a big cheesy wedding with MY prince.

But I'm just thinking, is getting married a big deal? Yes, I know you're making a commitment to each other and you're supposed to love each other till death does you part but that's not really the case.. People still cheat and lie in marriages and people can fall out of love, so is there really a point in marriage and a wedding?

I'm not saying I don't want to get married - I definitely want to get married, I'm just thinking it all seems a bit pointless.. Does a ring really do much? and at least 50% of marriages will end in a divorce, how depressing is that?! But at least the other 50% will stay together. So I guess it's a bit of a risk, like everything else in life.. You just gotta stay positive and hope that when your time comes you'll find a prince perfect for YOU ☺.

The human angels I'm talking about are doctors, nurses, firemen/women, scientists, policemen/women etc.

Everyone is a human angel, it only takes a smile to brighten up someones day, or holding the door open for someone might make someone feel a bit better, human angels can include blood donors, organ donors, charity raisers etc.

Trust is one of the biggest things in our lives.

From the moment we wake up in the morning, we trust that our parents haven't decided that today's the day they're gonna lock us in the cellar or poison our food,or starve us, we trust that when we get on the bus to school/college the bus driver won't suddenly crash into something and put our lives in danger, we trust that the traffic lights work so when you cross the road that when we see a green man the cars see a red light otherwise again our lives would be in danger, when we go to college we trust that out teachers will keep us safe from anything or anyone that might harm us, we trust that our friends will be honest to us, we trust that our partners won't hurt us, we trust that the dinner lady hasn't poisoned the food she's made.

Every single day, we trust in so many people without even realising, yet it may be hard to trust someone that is extremely close to you. In the end, there's only you - trust yourself to trust someone else, believe in yourself and there will be endless possibilities.

imagine how scary this must have been...

The people in Japan woke up today (or yesterday in their time) trusting that luck/God would be on their side, they trusted that they're friends and family would be safe wherever they are, we take a lot of things for granted not realising that others are not as lucky as us.

Rest in peace those who died and those who are yet to die because of the earthquake/tsunami in Japan :(

GIRLS WITH MOUSTACHES (I don't even know if I should call them girls).

Why do some girls have moustaches!?!

When I'm talking to a girl who has a moustache, I'm not listening to anything she's saying, I'm not looking at anything but her moustache, in my head there's like at least 10 arrows pointing to her upper lip, seriously girls, it is NOT a good look.

I know that being a girl at times can be slightly difficult (as in we have to do a lot of things - waxing, shaving, eyebrows etc.) but taking 2-3 minutes out of one day once a month to get rid of your moustache is not that difficult.

Reeaaally not a good look.

I just don't understand, it doesn't cost you anything to just find a piece of thread (rip some out of your sweater if you have to) just don't let yourself have a moustache, it looks hideous and some people might actually mistake you for a guy. It is NOT attractive, I repeat NOT attractive and I highly doubt it will EVER be attractive, so just get rid of it. Something else that disturbs me is when some girls bleach there moustache, but you can still see it! , it becomes this orangey/goldey colour and sometimes curls on your lip (yuck),and in the sun it looks like it's glowing - also not attractive.

Hello my dears! Today I've decided to take time out of my pretty lame day to make all you girls feel GOOD about yourselves ☺

We are constantly being bombarded with pictures of beautiful women every single day. Women like Beyonce, Cheryl Cole, Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, Scarlett Johanson and many many more. But are they really all that beautiful?

What we don't understand is that often we're not given an honest image.

The media portrays women in a way that may make girls feel insecure about themselves, e.g - portrays women to always look perfect, to have big boobs, a big bum, to be skinny, to be fair skinned, to be tall, have white teeth, long eyelashes, perfectly shaped legs, long nails, nice lips... the list is endless.

But what you don't understand is that most of these women are NOT REAL, you shouldn't feel insecure or pressured because of the fact that there are fake women in the media. Honestly, you shouldn't look up to these women, let me tell you why... Take someone like Beyonce, yes.. she's one of the richest women in the world, shes married to Jay Z, she's curvy right? promoting the fact that its okay to be curvy. Don't get me wrong, I love Beyonce, she's amazing! But I thought she was like one of them 'natural' curvy women, but it turns out she's not... she's had her lips reduced, her hips injected to make them curvier, breast augmentation and maybe even a nose job. Also, much more recently she has become REALLY light. (the image shows this)

I was shocked when I found all this out. I actually genuinely thought she was truly natural, but it turns out that no one in the media is honest and natural. Also, TONNES of makeup and airbrushing! Every single image in the media is airbrushed, even ones that magazine company's randomly take of celebrities (except for Alesha Dixon - she demanded that she wants no airbrushing done to any pictures taken of her). Why do girls aspire to be like this? These celebrities are obviously not happy with their bodies, so they changed them - because they have the money. Why should us girls aspire to be something that's not real? There are some girls that would say "ahhh Kim Kardashian's my hero!" Why? What AMAZING thing has she done? At least people like Beyonce, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie have talents but Kim Kardashian? Your HERO!? That's taking it a bit too far...

Find someone to aspire to who deserves to be your hero, because they're an HONEST person, because they've done something good and not because they're sex objects. Guys - look beyond the plastic surgery, make up and air brushing and realise that you're kind of pathetic for thinking all this fake beauty is beautiful, because it's not. Some people may think I'm jealous or whatever, but seriously... What have I got to be jealous of? These women are fake.

Girls, be happy with who you are, be happy with your body, be happy with yourself. You in yourself are beautiful. Don't compare yourself to all these fake people. Be whatever YOU want to be.

I absolutely despise long fingernails, I think they 're hideous!

Even on girls I find long fingernails disgusting, but on a very very rare occasion) long fingernails on girls are just about okay. But what I don't understand is why guys keep their fingernails long? if it's for appearance it reeaally doesn't look nice, it looks dirty and horrendous and I'm pretty sure the fingernails are filled with disgusting dirt and bacteria... so why do that to yourself? I just don't understand.

If that's not disgusting enough, you have some the guys with all their fingernails short and just the baby fingernail long? why? why would you purposely keep one of your fingernails longer than the other? Shamima's Book Review - Noughts and Crosses : Malorie Blackman

This has got to be one my favourite books if not my favourite book. I read this novel quite a while back and it's all still engraved in my memory.

The novel is based in a world where Black (Crosses) people are superior to White (Noughts) people and the book is like a little diary from both perspectives. The novel's based on a relationship between Sephy and Callum, but they're not allowed to be together because they're from different races and it's all really out of order.

But OMG, I could not let go of this book, I was so emotionally attached all the way through, it is such an AMAZING book, I remember reading it and I felt every emotion possible -anger, sadness, love. It was just so so amazing. It made me realise how unfair society can be, and it made me appreciate the life that I have.

At the end of the book I cried so much, it was just so emotional.

I went on to read the rest of the books.. Checkmate and Knife Edge (which continue on the story...) and the last book Double Cross.

Also, the trilogy was supposed to be a trilogy.. but because all her fans LOVED all the other novels, she had to make a final novel to end it that's how amazing it was!

Seriously, I may sound like a geek but you HAVE to read this book, it really is just mind blowing. I may actually read it again that's how amazing it is! :/

Also, Tinie Tempah mentions Malorie Blackman in his song 'Written in the stars' "I'm just a writer from the ghetto like Malorie Blackman" which just goes to show that Malorie Blackman is just so coooooool!

As a girl I always like to see the good in other girls however, I was naive to think that only guys can be pricks because I recently discovered that in fact is not true.

Girls can be equally easy, slaggish and pricky. I do think I'm a bit of a feminist therefore I always think women are the best and they're so amazing (obviously we are, but other times we're not)

In my opinion, a girls biggest flaw has to be attention (and jealousy, but that doesn't really matter at this point), when a guy tells a girl like shes hot, she gets happy. Well obviously.. Anyone would get happy at the fact that someone else finds them good looking, but then there's girls that think that this means that the guy who said this wants to sleep with them (which he probably does, because he's a guy but that's not the point). What I HATE is them girls, that eeeeveryone thinks that they're so innocent, when in fact there just fucking slags. Guys can't help the fact that they're pricks, but girls can! so anyone who's a slag you've let the females in the world down. I hope you're happy ¬_¬

Seeing as though women are pressured to be ‘perfect’ with big bums, big boobs and a small waists, I think I have the right to discuss mooooobss, lol.

Male breast reductions have increased by 28% in the UK (about right with all the male obesity). "Moobs" clocks up 281,000 hits on Google- wow, you guys really are worried about this, and you should be.. muahaha.

There's also a new vest that has been launched for men, which enhances the way their chest looks (refer to the image).

Apparently that’s called a MOOB TUBE, lol (like boob tube!), next thing you know they’re going to be inventing man bra’s (they might even call them mra’s).

I really do find this really REALLY funny, we all know that moobs aren’t an attractive trait so if you’re one of the ‘moobed males’ out there, get it sorted!

Okay, firstly abortion is a very controversial topic and every one's going to have their own opinions, these are just mine.
I think that as long as you have a good reason (either you can't look after the child and the child's not going to be loved, or in the case of rape or incest, or if the child has a disability and you feel you can't look after the baby) then it is understandable.
However, people that don't use contraception and think that having an abortion is like a form of contraception.. it's NOT okay, its just plain evil.

I believe that ever 'potential life' has a right to live however I also believe that every 'potential life' has a right to be loved and has a right to be happy and if you are bringing a baby into this world and the baby isn't going to be loved then there really is no point. There's millions of stories every day about parents abusing their children, killing their children, starving them, sexually abusing them.. I mean if you're going to do that why have the children in the first place?!

Today while in politics I came across the term PARTIAL-BIRTH ABORTIONS, I didn't actually know what it was but my politics teacher explained and I was and still am traumatised... :(

We are approching the new year so I though I'd share some of my memories from the past year :)
Hmmm.. I'm going to have to think about this one.
I started a new sixth form, I've made lots of new friends (woooo!), made a few enemies as well (woooooooo!) aha.
Sat AS Level exams and got some decent grades.
I've witnessed snow in October (what the fuck is that about ¬_¬)
I've become more of a bitch.
I've done my first article for a magazine (even though it's just the Newham magazine)
I got my first PAID job (not gonna be there for much longer though...I'm such a bad worker.)
I got a front fringe after wanting one since FOREVERRRR :O
I slipped in the snow only a few times with no major injuries (hurraaay!)
I've gained weight. lol.
I lost touch with a few friends, but I guess that just happens as you grow up.
Ummmm...I MADE THIS BLOG!!! ahhh, I'm so lame :)
I've decided to sue my dentist because they're pricks

Every year I make a new years resolution and I never stick to them, but I am now making a new years resolution to be less lazy and more active and not eat so much crap.. you are all my witnesses! :)

Why is it ok that disabled people can't use the tube?!

It's weird because I hadn't thought about this before today but then I realised that I haven't actually ever seen a person on a wheelchair on the tube?! woahhh.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD!? we live in a developed country which is a "democracy" and we have freedoms and right so shouldn't people in wheelchairs have the right to travel on the tube??
obviously it would take money to make ramps and different ways to help people on wheelchairs with using the tube but as a DEVELOPED DEMOCRATIC country we should find a way to give disabled people a place in society. would it be okay if children weren't allowed on tubes, or black people, or Muslims, or women, or men? NO, obviously not, then why the hell is is okay that we can't allow people in wheelchairs/disabled people to use the tube?! omds. ¬_¬ and isn't it ironic how it says 'please give up your seat for disabled people or those less able to stand'

BOREDOM BLUES

I am currently sitting in my sixth forms private study (supposed to be doing work, but thats not gonna happen!) looking at the same wall, the same colour, the same old blu tack stuck on the wall and have come to realise how boring life is for a 17 year old...

Especially as we're coming towards the end of the year, I'm just thinking will the next year bring the same boring things? ugh.

I don't have any exams in January (resits either) so I just lay about doing nothing but for all you people that do have exams, I truly do feel sorry for you.

Having the same routine everyday is boring for everyone and I was thinking IS THERE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS?
Hmm. It may seem that there is nothing more than endless revision, personal statements, looking through prospectuses, making revision timetables, but there is moreeeee! you just have to stay positive and not give up and I guarantee you that all your dreams will come true in the end :)

SNOW. Love it or hate it?

Soooo, it's forecasted to snow for this week (not like the weather guys usually right but you know...)

do we hate it or do we LOOOVEE it? (ooh, that sounds kinda dirty!)

In London we do get verryy excited about snow, just like we get veerryy excited about sun but it's not always nice especially when your feet becomes numb and you have to go all the way to primark to buy new boots :|

but it looks so pretty and compared to the normal scenes of pollution, gangs, litter and like leaves on the floor it is a nicer look. I googled 'interesting facts about snow' and the best one I got was:

Snow is technically a mineral, like iron and salt.

That's interesting right?

snow is pretty but it SUCKS.

- Its COLD

- Idiotic people throw snow balls at you.

- Your make up gets ruined and you end up looking like something from a horror film.

- You slip and fall and people laugh! :(

- It gets hard to see where you're going.

DENTISTORAMA (like panorama!)

I've always hated the dentists, but now I hate them more than ever :|
The reason why is because they inflict pain on you and they earn money for it!?

1 in 10 dentists now earn £300,000.
Dentists now earn more than our very own prime minister (who also sucks!)
Do you ever wonder why the dentists always tell you that you HAVE to have a filling or that you HAVE to get your tooth taken out? its because they get paid more if they do.

For a check up they earn up to £25, for fillings/taking teeth out they get paid at least £75.
Maybe I'm wrong and that when they say you need a filling you actually need a filling, but what if I'm right and we have idiotic dentists that we trust with out beautiful teeth to just do whatever they like to 'em just so they can earn a bit extra.

So the next time YOU go to the dentists make sure you actually need what they wanna do to you cause you never know you may end up toothless and your dentist may end up rich thanks to you. :)

TRANSPORT TROUBLES.

Okay, so I was on the train home today and there was severe delays because someone thought it would be a nice day to jump in front of the train (R.I.P) and I thought I'd share my bad journeys with you, if YOU have any bad journeys, please comment and let me know about them! :)

1. DOG TROUBLES:

Once me and my friend were on the 25 going all the way to central London (we though we'd save our selves a few pounds!) and this dog decided to come on, me and my friend being shit scared of dogs died some VERY idiotic things... My friend jumped on top of the engine and stayed there throughout the journey and I jumped onto this poor boy. lol
Another time we were on the bus and a dog came on and sat in the seat in front of us, and we thought we'd get off after the dog so we don't have any contact with the dog, the dog decided to get off on the last stop, so we got off on the last stop.

2. BUS JOURNEYS:

A lot of the time on the 25 especially when you get to White chapel you come across a lot of unhygienic people (no offence) and some of these people get on the 25 and spread the unhygienic nature towards you. This one time i was holding on to dear life and as I am a very small short person there were a lot of people taller than me on the bus holing on to them little handles that you hold on to and this one man who obviously hadn't heard of deodorant was standing on top of me and that was the day I decided I'd never get on the 25 again.

Another time on the 25 this women was picking her bogeys and one piece of her bogeys flicked onto me. YUCK YUCK YUCK.
So there's a bus that drops me straight to my house and I love that bus <3. I've had some very memorable times on the bus as well... like the time I was sitting on the bus and this guy behind me was stroking my hair, I thought it was a bit weird but I didn't know if he was actually stroking my hair so I didn't want to make a scene. So I got off a few stops later and bumped into one of my friends and she said "well you know what he was doing!" I assumed he was touching himself? :|
another time on the bus I was on my way home, it was a packed bus and this woman was on the phone to someone else and she was looking at me saying "yeah i found her she's on the bus yeah yeah" I though oh okay, nothing to worry about till she got her phone out and started taking pictures of me! then I got slightly worried and called my brother to pick me up from the bus stop. thank god for brothers!

3. TRAIN JOURNEYS:

I was on the train going to work (around 4ish) and there were A LOT of people on the central line (like there normally is) and I was holding on and everyone was just squishing me and this woman elbowed my eye :(

If your protesting you want to leave a GOOD message, not be violent and aggressive and especially with things like university fees? I mean, you're meant to be young ADULTS trying to get your voice heard and this is NOT the right way to do it? This protest just shows that your stupid YOBS, after seeing that and the other protest I'm disgusted at the fact that I am a student.
You're representing students all over the world and I'm sorry but you've not done a very good job of it.
I know that if there was no violence it wouldn't have made the main news headlines but there's a right way to do something and that just wasn't it. We're lucky that we live in a democratic country where we have freedom of speech and we shouldn't be exploiting it.
